Northstar Choral Festival

Jehovah Lutheran Church
1566 Thomas Avenue
St. Paul, MN  55014

As part of its mission to preserve and develop male choral singing, The Apollo Club is hosting the 3rd Annual Northstar Choral Festival (NCF) on Sat., Oct. 4, 2014 at Jehovah Lutheran Church in St. Paul.  This choral festival is free to participants and provides an educational and motivational experience for male high school choral students.  Exposing young men to a broad range of male choral music and vocal techniques will help enrich their lives and inspire them to excel in their personal vocal development journey.

The Apollo Club is excited to announce the participation of the Millikin Men from Millikin University in Decatur, IL under the direction of Dr. Brad Holmes, one of the premier collegiate men's groups in the country.  Dr. Holmes, along with Apollo's artistic director, Dr. Sean Vogt will lead singers in a day-long music education experience of rehearsals and workshops, culminating with a public concert with the Apollo Male Chorus, Millikin Men and Festival Chorus.  The concert will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Jehovah Lutheran.  With so much talent, this year's festival is lining up to be one of our best.  If you are a singer, director, or music enthusiast, we invite you to join us for the Northstar festival!  For more info, please contact Darren Jackson or Aaron James at NorthstarFestival@gmail.com
